Since Monday, September 6th is Labor Day and most offices will be closed, we wanted to remind you to enter forecasts covering the entire forecasting period (i.e., Saturday through Monday) prior to leaving for the holiday. These forecasts will be disseminated to various Weather Service Providers, which in turn will distribute them to local and national media outlets.

You can take advantage of the long-range forecast input capability of the submittal system to enter your forecasts up to 5 days out and simply update them if necessary.

If the forecasting schedule poses a problem for your agency due to staff limitations over the holiday, please e-mail us at the Data Management Center (AIRNowDMC@sonomatech.com) with your forecast AQI numbers and we will enter the forecasts for you. We will have staff on duty Saturday through Monday to ensure that the mapping and forecast systems remain operational, so please let us know if we can assist you in any way.
